Meng Su

Meng is a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics, with an MSc in Economics from LSE and a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Hong Kong.
Current areas of research include:
- Economics of education: Return to education, Vocational training, Intergenerational mobility
- Taxation: Differential impacts of the sin tax across income groups and social classes
- Gender wage gap: child penalty
Meng also works on Simeon Djankov's project on “Women’s Empowerment, Economic Freedom, and the Role of Law in Driving Prosperity” funded by the John Templeton Foundation.
