The November 2022 Advisory Scientific Committee (ASC) Insight published by the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB) contains a report by Martin Oehmke on "Bank capital regulation and climate change", which shows that setting capital requirements can help banks to address climate-related prudential risks, as long as we have good estimates of those risks.
