LSE has launched the Global School of Sustainability (GSoS) to advance global efforts to "shape a brighter future for all that is sustainable, resilient, hopeful, prosperous and inclusive."
The newly launched School will become a centre of expertise, solving complex global sustainability issues through social policy innovation and will train the next generation of leaders.
In the pursuit of its goals, GSoS will enlist the help of global experts and academic institutions from across social sciences in the UK and abroad, including climate scientists, governments, NGOs, civil society and leaders in business, finance and law.
The further development of policy, governance and partnerships in this field hopes to accelerate steps towards collective action across industries and sectors.
