Many colourful cogs being held together by the hands of different people

The Financial Markets Group, and its constituent units – the Systemic Risk Centre and the Paul Woolley Centre for the Study of Capital Market Dysfunctionality – are privileged to have a community of donors who express their support of our work through philanthropy.

All gifts, no matter the size, are a demonstration of faith in the value of our work and an investment in the School’s future as a world leading social science institution. Thank you.

How your support benefits the Financial Markets Group today

Donating through the Regular Giving programme

Your gift will help us plan and deliver projects and initiatives which require flexible or additional funding, allowing us to invest in the areas of greatest need. These include:

  • Understanding the workings of capital markets and the social efficiency of allocations these markets achieve.
  • Studying the drivers and consequences of financial crises, and how best to mitigate them.
  • Understanding the links between the financial sector and the real economy, and the role of financial intermediaries in creating value for the firms’ stakeholders, fostering good governance, and promoting environmental and social goals.
  • Studying the economics of climate change, the transition financing gap, and incentivizing the green transition.

Discuss your philanthropy

We can also help to match your generous philanthropy with longer-term priorities that enhance our research centre. We are currently seeking partners who share our vision of ensuring the Financial Markets Group continues to offer world-leading research programmes.

We would welcome the opportunity to talk to you about how you can help the FMG to continue to work towards its strategic priorities.

We can work with you to build on your relationship with LSE and discuss how your philanthropic and personal interests can be fulfilled through giving opportunities that are meaningful to you. We also work with trusts, foundations and corporates to develop mutually-beneficial partnerships.
