Professor Daniel Paravisini has been awarded First Prize in the Brattle Group Prizes in Corporate Finance at the American Finance Association Annual Meeting, which took place on January 5-7, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas.
The $25000 award is shared with his co-authors Veronica Rappoport and Philipp Schnabl for their article Specialization in Bank Lending: Evidence from Exporting Firms, published in the Journal of Finance in June 2023.
The Brattle Group Prizes are awarded annually for outstanding papers on corporate finance.
This is the second time Daniel has received this prestigious award, having last won in 2010 for Information and Incentives Inside the Firm: Evidence from Loan Officer Rotation (co-authored with Andrew Hertzberg and José M. Liberti).
